Saturday august 10 - the 5-year old final and the 6-year old consolation finals

Bilan (SWB by Bocelli out of Dilbér (F2) 25846 by Donnerschlag-Gauguin de Lully, breeder Per-Arne Persson) with Minna Telde got 8.28 (trot 8.8, walk 8.3, canter 8.0, submission 8.0 and general impression 8.3) and placed 10th in the 5-year old final!

Eurodressage writes: "Swedish Olympian Minna Telde could easily have finished higher in the ranking with her fantastic Swedish warmblood Bilan (by Bocelli x Donnerschlag). The chestnut gelding has a super nice trot with a fantastic front leg and good push from behind. The horse did lose a bit of balance on the curved lines and voltes but the extensions were top class. The walk was relaxed, ground covering and clear in its 4-beat rhuthm. The canter work was well ridden with excellently balanced counter canter and fluent transitions. Only in the trot with given reins, the horse should have stretched the neck more out."

Judging the 6-year old consolation final was Sandy Phillips from England, Isabelle Judet from France, Annette Franzen Iacobeaus from Sweden and Wojciech Markowski from Poland.

Santiago (SWB by Topaasch out of Esmeralda by Rubinrot-Warsteiner, breeder Magnus Ringmark and Stefan Jansson) with Martina Wikström got 6.98 (trot 7.3, walk 6.0, canter 7.4, submission 7.0 and general impression 7.2) and was 14th.

Faustino 1244 (SWB by Figaro R out of Ballerina 24034 by Bernstein-Toe Hold xx, breeder Gränsbo stuteri) with Mia Runesson got 6.64 (trot 6.4, walk 7.5, canter 6.6, submission 6.3 and general impression 6.4) and was 20th.

Thursday august 8 - the 5-year old preliminary test

The 38 horses was split into five groups where the group winner was guaranteed to reach the final, the ten best combinations today qualified directly for the final. The other combinations will ride a small final and the top trio will go into the final.

Bilan (SWB by Bocelli out of Dilbér (F2) 25846 by Donnerschlag-Gauguin de Lully, breeder Per-Arne Persson) with Minna Telde got 8.90 (trot 9.6, walk 8.4, canter 8.6, submission 9.0 and general impression 8.9) and placed 6th in the first qualifying competition for 5 year old horses. Bilan is qualified for the final on Saturday.

Eurodressage writes: "A definite star for the FEI ring is Minna Telde's Swedish warmblood Bilan (by Bocelli x Donnerschlag). The pair was third to go in the morning and stood out straight away with high level work. The trot was very smooth and balanced, the walk was fantastic, the canter engaged but a bit too much forward. Bilan made an unscripted flying change but that had little effect on the submission score".

Diva (SWB by Richfield out of Deja 28710 by Silvano-Don Schufro, breeder Marie Haward) with Anna Svanberg got 7.92 (trot 8.8, walk 7.8, canter 7.0, submission 8.0 and general impression 8.0) and was 17th in the first qualifying competition for 5 year old horses.

Red Devil (SWB by Don Primero out of Olympia 22784 by Chirac-Indus, breeder Eva Albertsen) with Sandra Sterntorp got 7.30 (trot 7.8, walk 6.6, canter 8.0, submission 6.8 and general impression 7.3) and was 26th in the first qualifying competition for 5 year old horses.

Doo (SWB by Don Primero out of Madeira 25435 by Master-Gibraltar, breeder Sonja and Wilburt Paulsson) with Ebba von Essen got 5.54 (trot 6.5, walk 4.5, canter 6.7, submission 4.5 and general impression 5.5) and was 37th in the first qualifying competition for 5 year old horses.
