Ludwig and Alexander were withdrawn overnight and will not start the showjumping today due to a strain in a hind leg.
-It is nothing serious and he will soon be back in training, it's a pity but these things happen, the important thing is that he is allright - Alexander is a horse for the future, says Ludwig Svennerståhl in a comment to the Swedish Riding Association, SvRF.

Ludwig Svennerstål (SWE) and Alexander (SWB born 2003 by New Balance out of Carinette (F3) 16659 by Herkules-Toreador, breeder Nils Larsson) finished with a clear cross country and within the time!
58 of the 83 starters were clear jumping, 23 of them clear inside the optimum.
Svennerstål and Alexander are in 27th place for tomorrow’s final showjumping phase.

Today all 84 entries for the Badminton Horse Trials 2013 passed at the first horse inspection.
Ludwig Svennerstål (SWE) and Alexander (SWB born 2003 by New Balance out of Carinette (F3) 16659 by Herkules-Toreador, breeder Nils Larsson) are ready to make their first start in Badminton. Badminton is also Alexanders first start in a 4* event.
