The winner Robin Godel´s Grandeur de Lully (CH born 2008) has some SWB in his pedigree. He is by Greco de Lully (CH by Gauguin de Lully (by Chagall-Gaspari-Drabant). Greco´s great grand dam Elegans was a Swedish mare by Dolomit (by Drabant)-Afgahn-Gaspari. Elegans is the foundation mare in marefamily CH23 in Switzerland. From this mareline comes the stallion Flis de Lully, Goofy de Lully (GP dressage) and Glock´s Flirt (GP dressage). Greco de Lully is placed in GP dressage.

Pietro Grandis (ITA) and Future (SWB born 2008 by Fetcher N out of Grace KEG by Le Mistral-Your County xx, breeder P-Agro AB/ family Per Håkanson) won a bronze medal at the Italian Eventing Championship!

They were in the lead after the dressage test and after the cross country but got three down in the last jumping.

Helena Lundbäck´s Erbblume (SWB born 1997 by Castor out of Erbe (34) 22433 by Maraton-Ceylon, breeder Monica and Ulf Häggstam) has passed away at the age of 25.

With Helena Lundbäck in the saddle, Erbblume competed at the Olympic Games in Hong Kong 2008 and at the World Championship in Lexington 2010.

After an impressive sports career, Erbblume retired from competitions in 2011 and left Lundbäck´s Erbe's Schätzchen (SWB born 2014 by Elvis ter Putte) in international 1.35.

CCI*****-L/CCI****-S Kentucky, USA april 27-may 1

Pippa Funnell (GBR) and Maybach (SWB born 2010 by Jaguar Mail out of Lady Micra by Irco Mena-Maraton, breeder Camilla Paradis) placed 5th in the dressage test! They jumped a clear round in the cross country but got some timefaults. It was Maybach's first 5* cross and they were in 9th place after dressage and cross. Funnell and Maybach jumped a clear round the last day and placed 6th overall!

Maybach has been in Pippa’s programme from the beginning of his education as he was started as a four-year-old by Swedish rider Hedvig Wik, who was based with the Funnells.
