Patrik Kittel (SWE) and Toy Story (ex Condor, SWB born 2000 by Come Back II out of Cessna (46) by Concorde-Kaliber, breeder Marie and Olle Bjernick) won Grand Prix Freestyle to music and placed 3d in Grand Prix.

Deborah Criddle (GBR) and LJT Akilles (SWB born 2000 by Amiral out of Heba (55) 14572 by Herkules-Flamingo, breeder Bollerup Lantbruksinstitut) won a silver medal in the grade III freestyle! They got 76.10% for the technical and 81.00% for the artistic, giving a total of 78.55%.

The Telegraph writes:
"Criddle, 46, who has one arm and partial use of her right leg after a motorcycle accident, was over the moon. “He was really with me,” she explained having posted her best score out of her three rides over the last six days.“You can’t go wrong in a freestyle because the judges don’t know what you’re going to do. Everything was in it but just not quite in the order I’d planned. I was ahead of the music in one place and behind in another so had to adjust.”Her mount, Akilles, was bought for her by the Lady Joseph Trust to help the British para-equestrian team win medals. “I feel so honoured to have the ride on him – 18 months ago I didn’t have a horse to ride for these Games,” she added.
The horse is something of a character. She revealed that on the day of her individual test he had been dosing in his stable, fallen asleep and, as a consequence, fallen over. “He doesn’t intend to go looking for things,” she said, “they just find him.”"
