The Dressage Canada Youth High Performance Committee and Dressage Selection Panel announced the selected athletes who will represent Canada at the 2014 North American Junior & Young Rider Championships, held July 15-20, 2014 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY. Young Rider Team Quebec will include Laurence Tetreault and Michelangelo (SWB born 1998 by Amiral out of Thara 24258 by Utrillo-Marocco, breeder Janna Wiede).

2014 North American Junior and Young Riders Championships, Lexington, USA july 15-20

Canada/Quebec´s Young Rider team with Laurence Tetreault (CAN) and Michelangelo (SWB born 1998 by Amiral out of Thara 24258 by Utrillo-Marocco, breeder Janna Wiede) won a silver medal at the North American Junior and Young Riders Championships. Laurence Tetreault and Michelangelo won a bronze medal in the Young Rider Freestyle test with 70.625%. They also placed 10th in the Individual Young Rider test with 66.026% and 14th in the Team test with 65.342%.

Kalie Beckers (USA) and Carush (SWB born 1993 by Dragon out of Hannah (55) 25193 by Stanford-Salvan, breeder Agneta Bergwall) placed 7th in the Individual Young Rider test with 66.368% and 12d in in the Team test with 65.553%.

Brett Burlington (USA) and Catch Me T (SWB born 2006 by Cardento out of Quite So 28111 by Quite Easy-Irco Mena, breeder Totorps HB) placed 5th in the Individual Junior Jumping and 5th with the Team Zones 3/4.
