Today started the second round of the Swedish Stallion Test with test rides for 4-year and older stallions. Gaits in hand and conformation was on todays program for 3-year old stallions. Participating stallions in the second phase are:

3-year old dressage stallions

Gustav (SWB, chestnut, 166-20.5 cm, by Damino SD out of Taiga (72) 27896 by Rambo-Lombard, breeder Per Holmestrand).

Gustav got a diploma i dressage as 3-year old with 888998=50 points. Both granddame and great granddame are Elite mares in Sweden.

Lynch Bages (Hann, chestnut, 172-21.5 cm, by Londontime out of Cinderella by Cordoba-Gelria).

Lynch Bages got a diploma i dressage as 3-year old with 987888=48 points.

Ballumé got diploma i jumping as 3-year old with 9-9 for losjump.

Etalon Lux N (SWB, bay, 168-21 cm, by Heartbreaker out of Luxemburg H 25051 by Lux Z-Leuthen I, breeder Patricia Norrman and Mikael Björk).

Great granddame is placed in S-level jumping and has won the Swedish Championship.

CDN Ankumer, Germany 21-24 february

Patrik Kittel (SWE) and Tellwell (SWB born 2000 by Tip Top out of Tarantella (F2) 21411 by Bayard-Lambert, breeder Susanne Johnsson) won Short Grand Prix with 74.496%.
Kittel writes on his website: "Tellwell did not fail to impress, showing many highlights to win the Short Grand Prix with 74.496%. Tellwell was the true showman he is, showing extravagant half passes, big floating extensions, a passage with super lift, and an uphill and expressive canter tour to top the field. Tellwells attitude combined with his super rideability and ability makes him so much fun to compete!.
I have to admit I went into this test with a new philosophy- thanks to Star Wars - "Do not try. Do!". After coming out of the arena, I have to think this new mind set was a good one, and I rode much better as a result. So, this new mind frame shall be staying!"

Thomas von Samson (GER) and Laterna (SWB born 2000 by Corrado WL out of Larette (F2) 15905 by Gulliver-Gondoljär, breeder L-Farm AB) placed 7th in Grand Prix.
