The Swedish Equestrian Federation has announced the horses that will represent Sweden at the 2022 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo, the Netherlands, on 8-11 september.

Based on the size of the Swedish Warmblood society, the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) has allocated four spots per age category to Sweden. Final selection is made in August.

5-year olds

The last embryo of Deja 28710 (SWB born 2004 by Silvano out of Donellie by Don Schufro-Amiral-Maraton, breeder Marie Harward) was the top seller of Global Dressage Auction. This lot was sold for 22.000 euros and will stay in the Netherlands. Sandro Hit sired this unborn foal.

The Swedish equestrian federation has selected the four riders that will make up the team for Sweden at the 2022 World Championships Para Dressage in Herning, Denmark on 6 - 11 August 2022.

The four selection riders are:

Natalie Oldfors (SWE) and Mickey M (SWB born 2006 by Metall out of Bonette by Bonaparte-Vagabond, breeder Medorid AB) won Grand Prix Freestyle with 75.530% and placed 2d in Grand Prix with 69.283%!
