CSI***** Winter Equestrian Festival (week 12) march 27-31

Lauren Hough (USA) and Ohlala (SWB born 2004 by Orlando out of Carrera 28800 by Cardento-Bonaparte, breeder Leif Nilsson) won $33,000 FEI G&C Farm, 1.45.

Shane Sweetnam (IRL) and Cyklon 1083 (SWB born 2001 by Cardento out of Cassandra (35) 25926 by Cortus, breeder Bo Lindroos) won $33,000 FEI Spy Coast Farm 1.45 and placed 5th in $33,000 FEI G&C Farm, 1.45.

Reed Kessler (USA) and Ligist (SWB born 2000 by Levantos II out of Chamina (5) 22132 by Robin Z-Hertigen, breeder Lars Erik Fryberg) placed 4d in $33,000 FEI G&C Farm, 1.45.

Emilie Martinsen (DEN) and Carisma (SWB born 1999 by Cardento out of Maratonia (6) 19215 by Maraton-Anart, breeder Gunilla Persson Berg) placed 9th in $50,000 Ruby et Violette.

Katie Dinan (USA) and Glory Days (SWB born 2001 by Cardento out of Diamond Glory by Diamond Serpent-Hildenley xx, breeder Royne Zetterman) placed 8th in $8,000 G&C Farm, 1.45.

CSI*** CHI AL SHAQAB 2013, Doha, Qatar march 27-30

Khalid Al Emadi (QAT) and Michael Jackson (SWB born 1999 by Feliciano out of Tilci K (11) 24575 by Cortez-Dragon, breeder Maria Hermann) won 1.30. Michael Jackson is owned by the Qatar Armed Forces.

Jacqueline Brooks (CAN) and D-Niro (SWB born 1999 by D-Day out of Alitalia 18708 by Napoleon-Herkules, breeder Christina Almström) are invited to contest the 2013 Reem Acra FEI World Cup Dressage Final to be held from April 24 to 28 in Gothenborg, Sweden.

"I am very excited about coming to Gothenburg," Brooks told Eurodressage. "It has been our goal all year and I have been in Florida to take advantage of training full time with Ashley Holzer in preparation of the final.  Goose has really matured in the larger stadium venues and has had his best results at the Olympic Games, Dressage at Devon, the Royal Winter Fair, and the Global show grounds which are all stadium type venues with lots of atmosphere. So I feel confident short of being on an indoor circuit, we have managed the best preparation possible in North America."

Jens Fredricson (SWE) with Lunatic (SWB born 1998 by Landlord out of Utriette 17843 by Utrillo-O´den, breeder Magnus Dyrendahl) and Anna Gromzina (RUS) with Pimlico (SWB born 2000 by Cardento out of Irish Mist xx by Premier Violon-Hurricane, breeder Filippa Böckman and Johan Fribing) are qualified for the 2013 World Cup Show Jumping final in Gothenburg.

Fourteen European based dressage riders boarded planes in Frankfurt and Brussels today to fly to Doha, Qatar to compete at the invitation only 2013 Al Shaqab CDI 4* on 29 - 31 March 2013. Their horses were shipped in a cargo plane from Amsterdam to the Middle East on Monday 25 March 2013.

Among them is Patrik Kittels Toy Story (ex Condor, SWB born 2000 by Come Back II out of Cessna (46) by Concorde-Kaliber, breeder Marie and Olle Bjernick).
