Anna Svanberg (SWE) and Tabasco 1201 (SWB by Topaasch out of La´Mour 25810 by Sack-Judex xx, breeder Ingrid Lundberg-Persson family) won the Consolation final of the World Young Horse Championships in Verden and qualified for the final! They got 7.8 (trot), 9.2 (walk), 8.4 (canter), 7.5 (submission), 8.4 (general impression) and 8.26 (total). Mia Runesson (SWE) and Barcelona (SWB by Figaro R out of Ballerina 24034 by Bernstein-Toe Hold xx, breeder Gränsbo Stuteri) placed 2d and also qualified for the final! They got 8.5 (trot), 8.5 (walk), 8.0 (canter), 7.6 (submission), 8.4 (general impression) and 8.20 (total).

Thirty-five 6-year old dressage prospects today tried to qualify for the final of the World Young Horse Championships in Verden.

Anna Svanberg (SWE) and Bellman 1196 (SWB by Hermes out of Bellona (33) 29397 by Prestige-Warsteiner, breeder Birgitta Österberg and Filip Wilhelmsson) placed 6th and qualified for the final! They got 8.5 (trot), 9.0 (walk), 8.5 (canter), 8.3 (submission), 8.7 (general impression) and 8.6 (total).

Jacqueline Brooks and D-Niro (SWB born 1999 by D-Day out of Alitalia 18708 by Napoleon-Herkules, breeder Christina Almström) are placed 18th after the first day of Grand Prix.

Eurodressage writes: "Jacqueline Brooks and D Niro lost points in the extended walk but executed nice piaffes."

The Canada team was eliminated from the team competition when the Danish Warmblood Capital ridden by David Marcus reared several times near “C” and was excused, thus leaving his country with only two combinations and not the three required.

Mistral Höjris mother Virgina is by the Swedish stallion Ibsen out of Vanessa by the Swedish stallion Elizar out of the Swedish mare Vanja (F2) 14167. Donnperignon´s grandfather Mozart II is out of the Swedish mare Symfoni (62) 10326. Mas Guapo´s father is the Swedish stallion Master and his granddame is by the Swedish stallion Pilar.
