Jens Fredricson (SWE) and Lunatic (SWB born 1998 by Landlord out of Utriette 17843 by Utrillo-O´den, breeder Magnus Dyrendahl) jump a clear round in the first individual qualifier at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Out of the 75 riders, 32 rode clear rounds and many of the favorites for the medals could be found among these.

Lisen Bratt-Fredricson (SWE) and Matrix (SWB born 2002 by Cardento out of Medusa 17845 by Maximus-Drabant, breeder Charlotta and Jan Forsman) took off on a half-stride, way too early, and could not reach over the triple bar at 3a causing a crash landing for Lisen and almost a fall for Matrix himself. Lisen was later send for x-rays, while Matrix seemed to be unhurt. Luckily for Lisen nothing was broken.

Lisen Bratt-Fredricson and Matrix (SWB born 2002 by Cardento out of Medusa 17845 by Maximus-Drabant, breeder Charlotta and Jan Forsman) rode the entire course with only four faults which came in the triple combination. Lisen’s round followed her brother-in-law Jens Fredricson’s eight fault performance with Lunatic (SWB born 1998 by Landlord out of Utriette 17843 by Utrillo-O´den, breeder Magnus Dyrendahl), but then came two clears for Sweden. The Swedish team is in 2d place!

Swedish Warmblood horses won gold medals at The Swedish Driving Championships held in Vaggeryd, Sweden 3-5 august.

Tomas Eriksson with Leon (SWB born 1992 by Falleur out of Evita II by Fandango-Ganymed, breeder Elizabeth and Tom Rydström) won a gold medal in the Four-in-Hand.

Eva Ottosson and Jasper (SWB born 1989 by Jumper out of Lotten (6) by West-Ceylon, breeder Eric Larsson) won a gold medal in the pairs class.

Cecilia Qvarnström and Sveland Sacramento (SWB born 1997 by Sack out of Galadriel (43) 24718 by Pajazzo-Vilmorence xx, breeder Liselott Ljung) won a gold medal in the single class.

The Swedish Dressage Championship for Young/Junior rider Kågeröd, Sweden 3-5 august

Anna Drugge and Stroller (SWB born 1999 by Highlight out of Sunny Girl 25894 by Master-Chagall, breeder Rigmor and Johnny Svensson) won a silver medal for Young Riders. Elisabeth Hjelm and Chock (SWB born 2003 by Chapman out of Mercedes 26330 by Master-Kew Gardens xx, breeder Birgitta Kjellin Häst AB) won a bronze medal.

Marina Mattsson and Beckham (SWB born 2002 by Bernstein out of Kontesse (51) 24836 by Koncerz xx-Caracas, breeder Johanna Nihlgård) won a gold medal for Junior riders. Filippa Börjeson and Basic (SWB born 1995 by Bernstein out of French Call xx 20169 by Caliban-French Beige, breeder Björkhaga gård HB) won a silver medal.
