Sara Algotsson-Ostholt (SWE) and Wega (SWB born 2001 by Irco Mena out of La Fair 25359 by Labrador-Prince Fair xx, breeder Margareta Algotsson) won the individual silver at the London 2012 Olympics!

Sara Algotsson-Ostholt and Wega were tied for the individual lead going into today's first jumping round. Sweden had already let the chance of a team bronze slip away so Sara was riding to set herself up for an individual gold. Wega is an excellent show jumper and showed off her skills with a double-clear to guarantee them the lead going into the final round and putting all of the pressure on German'y Ingrid Klimke. In the second jumping Sara and Wega pulled a rail at the very last fence on course but won a silver medal!

Niklas Lindbäck (SWE) and Mister Pooh (SWB born 2000 by Majim G out of Trollop xx 24818 by Tammer Fors-Eaudamon, breeder Stall Pooh) placed 18th.

Linda Algotsson (SWE) and La Fair (SWB born 1997 by Labrador out of Princess Fair 20317 by Prince Fair xx-Cosmos xx, breeder Margareta Algotsson) placed 36th.

The Swedish team placed 4d.

Linda Algotsson (SWE) and La Fair (SWB born 1997 by Labrador out of Princess Fair 20317 by Prince Fair xx-Cosmos xx, breeder Margareta Algotsson) are in 44th place.

The Swedish team are just 6.7 points behind Germany after five clear rounds today.
