German dressage rider Falk Rosenbauer got the ride on the 7-year old Swedish warmblood gelding Ramstein (SWB born 2005 by Rubinrot out of Selma by Michellino-Master). Sponsors acquired the horse for Falkrosenbauer from the Swedish breeders and owners Peter Ljungcranz family. Ramstein was competed in the Swedish young horse classes by Malin Ljungcrantz. The combination finished 12 in the 6-year old finals of the 2011 Swedish Young Horse Championships in Flyinge.

Paul Schockemöhle and partners are placing five stallions in Sweden; all of them approved by the Swedish warmblood society (SWB), and will make his whole stud book available to Flyinge's client base.
This means that Swedish breeders can continue to use Flyinge for covering their mares in 2012 and perhaps some of the staff will have employment during the next season.

The breeding department at Flyinge, a former state stud in Sweden which is celebrating its 350 year anniversary this year, is under threat of closing down.
According to people close to the management, the general director and his team have received an ultimatum from the board of the directors, which owns the Flyinge foundation: "Find a solution or close down within two weeks!"
